Quick update

Dear friends,

Here's a quick update on Todd. He was admitted to MSKCC ("Sloan") and will be in the hospital there for about a week. They have done a superb job connecting dots and assessing his condition. We have seen so many doctors already, which is great. They are all awesome (and really beautiful which we had a laugh about). Todd is being treated for a bowel obstruction and possible infection in his abdomen. After these issues are addressed, we will then discuss chemo options. That discussion has not happened yet. I'll keep you posted. Your care for us is amazing.

It must feel good to actually start some kind of treatment rather than waiting, thinking, and deciding. Sounds like you have a great plan in place. Still sending happy thoughts and prayers.

My thoughts have been with you over the past weeks. It's good to hear that Todd has gotten a little relief (and on a Sunday no less!) and that he's been admitted to Sloan K.
I hope that you are able to feel some peace and love throughout this difficult journey. I have always admired your sense of purpose, Todd, and the way that you create such a loving family and community.
