My condolences to the entire Fertig family. I was a friend of Todd's in high school and I will always remember him as a warm and funny friend. Todd always has a kind word or a joke to cheer you up. I am so sorry that he was taken from you but he is now pain free and happy. He will always be you.

I would like to extend my sincere condolences to the Fertig and Sigler families. I had the good fortune of meeting Todd when my friend, Vicky, and I went to visit Kristen. Todd was very welcoming and made our visit even more special. He shared many stories with us and we laughed the entire day. I will continue to pray for the Fertigs and Siglers <3

Those of us that worked with Todd at iTriage are so saddened to hear this news. When Todd was in the office he always made a point to make it around to each person's desk to make a personal connection with them. I remember him smiling and laughing a lot. He also got really jazzed when he told stories about his wife and kids. His joy was contagious. My sincere condolences go out to your family and friends. Todd will be missed.

I met Todd in early 2000. He was one of the most amazing human beings. He was so good at what he did. We met many times at nursing conferences to promote his product. We had so many good times out for dinner, dancing. I heard him talk about his girlfriend Michelle, then they were engaged then married. Thanks to Facebook I kept in touch with him. I am sadden that such a horrible thing could happen to such a nice person. I was honoured to know him and work with him. He loved his family so much. I am so sorry.

Michelle, we have prayed so diligently and so hard for you guys since almost day 1. Not knowing Todd, but having heard so many stories from Kristen a bit back in Charlotte, and knowing you my dear friend... he must have been pretty amazing. Crying as I type this... I am so, so sorry. You are still one of the strongest people I have ever had the honor of knowing, and your strength will get you through this. Please know that our prayers and thoughts will not stop. Living at the coast, waves are pretty common... and each time I watch a wave I will think and pray for you, your kiddos, and Kristen. I have not seen Todd in many years but my memories of him are vivid and meaningful. Back to watching him work with his teacher Walt Parson to getting his head shaved! I am devastated so I can't even imagine what this beautiful family is going through. How proud and loved he was! I hope everyone's prayers help you through this sad time.

While we all hope to be loving and warm, it's not often you meet someone like Todd who so clearly loves his family, his friends, his life, without reservation. I loved asking Todd about his family so I could watch the light in his eyes make the moment brighter for everyone listening. What a dear sweet person, Michelle, I am so sorry for your loss. Life is grossly unfair.
